The Town of Niverville & Eco-West Canada have successfully received a grant from Natural Resources Canada (NRC) to install two Level 2 charging stations at the new Niverville Community Resource & Recreation Centre (CRRC). The stations will be funded by the Town of Niverville and the NRC grant. These stations will allow for four electric vehicles to be charged on a pay-per-use platform. The goal is to have the stations ready by the time the CRRC opens in the Summer of 2021. These stations will represent the first publicly accessible charging stations for Niverville as the Town works towards expanding the network of charging stations in the region and help to reduce its carbon footprint.
