Largest Donation of Public Green Space in Decades: Mayor Myron Dyck
Niverville, MB – The Town of Niverville is excited to announce the donation of a full-sized playground along Range Avenue by Sunset Estates. This new green space is open to the public as of this press release, and will provide yet another way for the Town of Niverville to further its commitment to active living and community connection.
“This donation of a full playground is a great benefit to the Town of Niverville,” says Mayor Myron Dyck. “We are very thankful for this donation, which is the largest the Town has seen in decades. It’s always exciting to see our town grow, and this donation of a playground is another example of that growth.”
Developer Len Peters, Owner of Sunset Estates, agrees. “This playground will be a benefit to the many young families that call Niverville home. I’m happy to see this green space be used for the benefit of the residents of the community.”
“Niverville Recreation & Wellness is excited to add this playground to our large number of outdoor recreation spaces in Town,” says Warren Britton, Director of Recreation & Wellness for the Town of Niverville. “With the addition of this space, the Town of Niverville now has over 160 acres of usable park green space for the public to enjoy.”
While the playground is now open for enjoyment, the Town of Niverville asks residents to still take caution, as there is still active construction in the area.
