The Town of Niverville would like to inform residents of upcoming changes to the closure along 4th Avenue South, which will temporarily restrict access to affected resident’s property. This closure is projected to begin the morning of Monday, September 23rd, 2024, and last until Saturday, September 28th, 2024, depending on the weather. Please see the map below for a visual of where these closures will be.
This closure is taking place so that the final prep and installation of asphalt can be completed, and to allow the new asphalt time to cool and set. This closure should be in effect for roughly a week, depending on the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The Town of Niverville will endeavour to keep affected residents informed of any changes to this projected schedule.
The 4th Ave Bible Church has graciously allowed its parking lot to be used during this temporary closure as a parking space for residents who live along this section of 4th Avenue South. If you do not live in the area affected by this closure, please do not use this parking lot.
As residents who live along this section of 4th Avenue South will need to temporarily access their properties by foot, the Town asks you to use the sidewalk along the west side of the street if it is available, otherwise, please use the boulevard along the east side. Please be aware that this is still an active construction site, and all construction activities and/or equipment have the right-of-way.
If you or anyone in your residence has mobility or accessibility concerns, please reach out to the Town Office as soon as possible. We hope to reasonably accommodate any concerns that you may have. You can reach us by email at feedback@whereyoubelong.ca or by phone at 204-388-4600.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the Town of Niverville works to provide its residents with safer streets.
