COVID-19 Update #4
April 30, 2020
In response to the April 29th Press Release from the Province on restoring safe services.
The Town of Niverville will be re-opening playgrounds on Monday, May 4, 2020. Parents are asked to educate their children about the ways to reduce the risk of infection by physical distancing and proper hand hygiene. Residents are asked to take note that the Province still requires that people maintain a distance of at least two metres, except for brief exchanges. No more than 10 people may gather in common areas and congregation of people is actively discouraged.
Washrooms in Hespeler Park will remain closed to the public at the present time.
Council meetings are still being held at the South End of the Niverville Centennial Arena and physical distancing mechanisms are in effect for those attending the meetings.
All Niverville Recreation Programming is still cancelled until May 15, 2020. Recreation staff will be exploring options for hosting day camps so stay tuned for future announcements on the Town’s communication avenues.
All communication from the Town will be put on the Town’s website www.whereyoubelong.ca, the Town’s Facebook page and Twitter @TONiverville.
