COVID-19 Update #5
Click READ MORE for the latest Town of Niverville update on COVID-19.
The Town of Niverville has re-opened playgrounds and batting cages. Parents are asked to educate their children about the ways to reduce the risk of infection by physical distancing and proper hand hygiene. Residents are asked to take note that the Province still requires that people maintain a distance of at least two metres, except for brief exchanges. No more than 10 people may gather in common areas and congregation of people is actively discouraged.
Baseball diamonds are currently closed, trails and greens spaces are open within our parks but only to non-contact sports and activities. Washrooms in Hespeler Park will remain closed to the public at the present time.
Council meetings are still being held at the South End of the Niverville Centennial Arena and physical distancing mechanisms are in effect for those attending the meetings.
All Niverville Recreation Programming is cancelled until May 31, 2020. We are excited to announce that Day Camps will start in June! There are a limited number of spaces available as our Camps will follow guidelines put out by the Province of Manitoba. For more information on Day Camps please visit https://whereyoubelong.ca/rec-leisure/programs/children-s-camps
All communication from the Town will be posted here, as well as the Town’s Facebook page and Twitter @TONiverville.
