Manitoba Youth Job Centre Open May 15th

May 12, 2017

The Niverville Manitoba Youth Job Centre (MYJC) will be opening on Monday, May 15th for the summer.

Centres across Manitoba have been open annually for over 40 years of successful support in youth employment in Manitoba. The Niverville MYJC is sponsored by Manitoba Education and Training in partnership with Niverville’s Town Office, and serves the communities of Niverville, Lorette, Landmark, Ile-Des-Chenes, La Salle, New Bothwell and St. Adolphe.

This year’s MYJC Youth Engagement Leader is Janeen Peters. She has just completed her 4th year of study in Education at the University of Winnipeg, and is very excited to be working in the community this summer.

The MYJC is designed to meet the employment needs of students and youth, as well as the needs of employers who have vacant positions to fill, by offering a free referral service to those who wish to hire an eager, hard-working young person. Employers of all types – business and household – can take advantage of the free services the Centre provides. Only the most qualified candidates are referred, and the employer always has the final hiring decision.

Students and youth between the ages of 12 and 29 are encouraged to register with the MYJC. If you have any questions about the MYJC services, would like to place a job order or register to be referred to available jobs, or would like to make an appointment to discuss resumes, please feel free to contact Janeen or drop by the Centre located at 86 Main Street in Niverville. The MYJC office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, phone (204) 304-0817 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
