Waste Transfer Site

Niverville Council recognizes that there may be occasions when residents have additional household waste that they would like to personally remove. A waste transfer site is located approximately one kilometre north on Sixth Avenue North (Bristal Hauling). Current hours and drop-off fees can be found here.

Hazardous Waste Disposal

**Please note: Hazardous and industrial waste (including cooking oil) are not acceptable materials in either the waste or recycling carts.

The City of Steinbach has opened a permanent hazardous waste facility at the Landfill (104 Hanover Road E) which permits Niverville and area residents to drop off residential quantities of hazardous waste year-round. (Note: Commercial businesses will be turned away.) All hazardous material brought to the site must be in sealed, original, clearly labeled containers. (i.e. NO “mystery” liquids in ice cream pails).
